Day-Trading Scenarios for Dec 26, 2025

Post holiday low volume trading. We expect at least a couple of 135 point swings.

That is not overwhelming but can produce good profits for those who are patient. Support for buying after any sell off is 48940 to 48879. Upside targets are 49080 to 49146.

Earnings growth projections remain solid (mid-teens for broader market in 2026), with resilient U.S. data and no major catalysts today (light economic calendar post-holiday).

Longer-term forecasts point to the DJIA reaching 50,000

The most notable recent item (from the pre-Christmas session on December 24) was a positive boost for Nike (NKE), a Dow component:

Shares surged ~4.6% after a regulatory filing revealed Apple CEO Tim Cook purchased nearly $3 million worth of Nike stock (50,000 shares at ~$58.97 average).

On the milder negative side:

Intel (INTC) saw minor pressure (down ~0.5% in recent sessions) from reports that Nvidia halted testing of Intel's 18A chip production process—though this isn't a new development today and has limited broader impact.

Day-Trading Scenarios for Aug 6, 2026

We start with a narrow range. This means the market, including the institutions, are confused as to the next move. This tells us to be patient, wait for the break, then get aboard. We are overbought.
