Day-Trading Scenarios for Dec 29, 2025

Trend is short term down so we have been trading from the short side.

The next support is 48810, then 48750,then 48695.

Resistance is 48935, then 49068.

The DJIA and other E-mini futures remain in a long-term uptrend, trading within an ascending channel since early 2025 lows. Key observations:

Moving averages are sloping upward and providing dynamic support.

Recent all-time highs around 49091 act as near-term resistance, with support near 48,475–48,200 (prior consolidation zones).

Momentum indicators show strong buy signals on daily/weekly timeframes, with the index holding above key levels post-Fed decisions.

Many technicians still looking at 50,000 targets by the end of January.
