Day-Trading Scenarios for Dec 9, 2025

Trend slightly lower this morning within the larger time frame uptrend. Next support to consider longs are 47710. Resistance begins at 77875 where you can look to short.

Employment Outlook: Markets are on edge for tomorrow's (Dec. 10) nonfarm payrolls report, expected to show ~200K jobs added in November. Friday's ADP private payrolls surprise bolstered rate-cut bets but highlighted labor market softening, echoing broader cooling from October's ISM services employment index. This supports Fed easing but risks downside surprises if payrolls undershoot, amplifying recession fears.

Dow Component Spotlight: Boeing (BA) shares rose ~1.5% premarket after closing its $4.7B acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems, including $439M in assets to Airbus. This bolsters Boeing's supply chain but faces FAA scrutiny; positive for industrials if integration smooths 737 production ramps.
