Day-Trading Scenarios for Feb 25, 2026

Day 2 of recovery. Market at 49449 as of this writing.
Some traders think those who were trapped in the 800 point sell off a chance to get out. Until the trend intraday turns down we continue to buy pullbacks. First support 49361, next is 49299.
First resistance stands at 49525, then 49602.
The session's upside came despite the 10% global tariff (under Section 122) taking effect at midnight, following President Trump's weekend escalation rhetoric after the Supreme Court's ruling invalidated prior broad tariffs. Investors appeared to view the implemented 10% rate (rather than the threatened 15%) as less severe than feared, supporting the bounce.
No blockbuster data dominates, but Fed commentary could sway rate expectations (markets pricing modest cuts for 2026). Tariff rhetoric remains a wildcard — any hints of further escalation could pressure sentiment, while softer tones or positive economic framing might support equities. Broader themes include ongoing AI disruption concerns and anticipation for upcoming tech earnings (e.g., Nvidia later this week).
Volatility could rise around Fed voices and confidence data. Stay nimble — have a strong trading day!
