Day-Trading Scenarios for Jul 13, 2026

Made most of our money already on fading the 8:30 Report. Wait for the first 15 minutes to determine what the market will do in the next hour.
Iran and oil back in focus. If we close below 52400 it will signify weakness for the next month.
Fundamental View for Day Traders
Calendar: Relatively light early, but watch for any retail sales, inflation ticks, or Fed speaker comments that could influence rate expectations. Earnings rotation continues to support Dow components.
Macro drivers: US Dollar strength/weakness and bond yields remain key. Any positive risk sentiment (or rotation away from tech) helps the Dow. Geopolitical or tariff headlines could add volatility.
Intermarket: Track S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures for correlation — Dow has shown relative strength recently in rotational moves.
Day Trader Bottom Line: Expect another range-bound to mildly directional session focused on the 52,600–53,000 battle. A decisive break above 53,000 would shift bias bullish for targets toward 53,400+. Use tight risk on entries, respect the support zone, and stay alert to volume at the open. Low conviction from Monday suggests potential for a breakout attempt today.
