Day-Trading Scenarios for May 27, 2026

Dow needs to hold support at 50486.

60 Minute trend still up. If that trend turns down we will begin shorting heavily.

U.S. markets reopened after the Memorial Day holiday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 50,461.68, down 118 points (-0.23%). It traded in a range roughly 50,356 to 50,785. The index showed some profit-taking after recent strength near the 50,000–51,000 zone.

Dow Futures (YM June 2026 contract) settled around 50,547 on May 26, with intraday trading between approximately 50,500–50,616 in electronic sessions. The contract saw modest moves in a relatively quiet post-holiday environment

  • Market Drivers: Continued focus on AI/tech earnings momentum, corporate resilience, and Fed policy expectations. Geopolitical developments (e.g., any updates on Middle East/Iran) and oil prices remain influential for inflation views. Recent record highs in S&P/Nasdaq reflect risk-on sentiment, but rotation out of some sectors weighed on the Dow.

  • Broader Backdrop: Markets remain supported by earnings beats and growth optimism, though vigilance on inflation, rates, and valuations persists. Thin trading mid-week could lead to choppy moves on news.

Follow the manipulation today by the institutions. When you see a trade that does not make sense, that is manipulation. TAKE THAT TRADE.
