Ranges are contracting as volatility subsides. Don't forget about using the 27 minute cycle.
The Dow E-mini futures (YM, June 2026 contract YMM6) settled higher around 48,416, gaining modestly with the cash Dow Jones Industrial Average closing at 48,185.80 (+276 points or +0.58%). The contract traded in a range roughly from 47,902 to 48,555, opening near 48,090 before extending gains in a continuation of the relief rally.
The near-term technical picture remains constructive but cautious after the recent breakout:
Overall bias: Mixed, leaning toward Buy on many timeframes per moving averages (more Buy signals on longer horizons), with some indicators flashing Strong Sell on shorter ones. Momentum (RSI, MACD, Stochastics) shows cooling from overbought levels but no strong reversal yet.
Geopolitics remains the primary driver: The two-week U.S.-Iran ceasefire is holding tenuously but under stress. New Israeli strikes on Lebanon have drawn Iranian criticism (as a potential violation), while Hormuz access and follow-up talks in Pakistan add uncertainty. President Trump has emphasized compliance, and markets are monitoring any escalation risks or implementation details. Oil prices have rebounded on supply concerns, indirectly pressuring risk assets. The "fear-hope cycle" continues, with weekend headline risk likely to keep traders cautious.
Keep buying pullbacks this morning.
