Day-Trading Scenarios for Dec 11, 2025

The market is consolidating after yesterday's big run up.

The E-mini Dow Jones Industrial Average futures for December 2025 ( are trading near 48,100 as of 8:23 am reflecting a modest pullback from the previous close. This comes after a strong rally yesterday, where the underlying Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 1.1% (or nearly 500 points) to close at 48,107, buoyed by the Federal Reserve's 25-basis-point rate cut to a 3.5%-3.75% range. Volume stands at approximately 15,446 contracts, indicating moderate participation amid a broader market digestion phase.

AI/Tech Sector Weakness: Oracle's (ORCL) after-hours earnings miss yesterday—revenue below expectations despite surging AI infrastructure demand—triggered an 11% plunge in its shares, dragging the AI ecosystem lower. Related names like Nvidia (NVDA, -1.4%), CoreWeave (CRWV, -3.3%), and AMD fell in sympathy, reigniting bubble fears around AI monetization timelines. This has spilled into broader tech, pressuring Nasdaq futures more than Dow-tracking YM. Analysts view ORCL's $15B CapEx hike as a necessary growth investment (mirroring Microsoft and Amazon's cloud scaling), but short-term sentiment is emotional and punitive.

Look to buy a pullback near 48000. Additional support is the daily pivot at 47952
