Day-Trading Scenarios for Dec 24, 2025

Merry Christmas to all. It has been a very good year and we look forward to even better to come.

The market will close today at 12:00 PM Central Time. We expect a 110 SMF.

We are playing the ranges (buying support, selling resistance) lightly. Don't expect huge moves.

Fundamentals remain supportive for equities, particularly blue-chips in the Dow.

  • Recent data highlights include a strong Q3 GDP revision to 4.3% (beating estimates), underscoring economic resilience amid AI-driven growth and consumer spending.

  • The Fed's recent rate cut cycle (with expectations for modest easing into 2026) continues to bolster risk assets.

  • However, mixed signals like softening consumer confidence and job concerns have tempered enthusiasm slightly.

If after the open we can hold above 49840 we should hit the holy grail of 50,000 Dow. Since the daily trend is up we continue to buy good pullbacks into support zones. As of this writing the first goo

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell will be appearing on televison this morning. That is what John Walsh said. Other than that all looks OK. The daily trend remains solidly up. Only a close below 4880
