Day-Trading Scenarios for Feb 10, 2026

We start with consolidation this morning. Two way trading.
First support is 50110, then below that is 49972 down to 49898. Buy pullbacks.
Sell into resistance that begins at 50280, then 50310.
We will look to take the 30 minute break out this morning (Crable trade).
Fundamentals remain supportive in the medium term, with markets pricing in a higher likelihood of Federal Reserve rate cuts in the first half of 2026, which could bolster equities despite short-term caution.
Futures are trading largely flat to slightly higher this morning, with YM up about 0.1%, reflecting steady sentiment as investors await a data-heavy week. Key catalysts include delayed retail sales data (expected today, potentially showing below-expectations figures), the January jobs report (due Wednesday), and CPI inflation readings later in the week.
Earnings from major companies will also influence sentiment. Treasury yields are slipping (10-year at around 4.16%), providing some tailwind. Overall, the outlook is cautiously bullish, with potential for upside if data supports rate-cut expectations, but watch for volatility around releases.
