We start today with an inside day compared to Friday.
That means retracement trades do not work as well. First resistance is 49590 and after that 49774. Support is 49420 then 49179.
Look for breaks of small trading zones to take break out trades.
The market is opening under pressure from renewed tariff uncertainty after President Trump announced an increase in global tariffs to 15% over the weekend, following the Supreme Court's decision to invalidate his prior "reciprocal" tariffs.
This has sown confusion, with Dow futures dropping around 0.4-0.5% in pre-market, while safe-haven assets like gold rise 0.7% and Bitcoin slips. Social media sentiment echoes this volatility, with discussions highlighting the tariff hike as a key driver of the dip.
