Ask Aaron Rodgers if luck sometimes plays a role in success.
The key is to practice winning habits until luck has a chance to contribute to success.
After a decent short covering rally on Friday, the market remains calm and range bound. We expect volatility to increase and would take a 30-minute break out in either direction. If the market closes below 48575 it would signal the first downtrend since November 17th.
The first good support to consider a long is at 48490. Swing magnitude creeping up to 195.
The 2026 outlook for the Dow (and YM futures) is positive overall, supported by resilient earnings, AI-driven capex, and expected Fed easing, though tempered by policy uncertainty, sticky inflation risks, and high valuations.
Earnings and Growth — Analysts project 12–15% earnings growth for broader indices, with AI productivity gains boosting margins. The Dow's value/cyclical mix could benefit from sector rotation away from pure tech concentration.
Crude did not react much to Venezuela news. Overall, crude remains in a weak multi-year trend, down over 20% in 2025 amid demand concerns and non-OPEC production growth.
