Day-Trading Scenarios for Jan 30, 2026

The daily down trend formed yesterday had overnight follow through.

Our job is to short over bought rallies on the 1 minute chart. They will push it up to get short at favorable prices, then knock it down.

First resistance is 49060, then 49199. First support is 48890 then 48775.

Recent Fed steadiness supports stability, but speculation around future leadership (e.g., Trump nomination news like Kevin Warsh for Fed chair) adds uncertainty—perceived hawkishness could pressure equities. Broader optimism on US economy/resilience persists, but tariff/geopolitical noise (e.g., past mentions) remains in the background.

Earnings from Exxon, Chevron, American Express in the news today.

Day-Trading Scenarios for Aug 6, 2026

We start with a narrow range. This means the market, including the institutions, are confused as to the next move. This tells us to be patient, wait for the break, then get aboard. We are overbought.
