Day-Trading Scenarios for Mar 26, 2026

Market in daily trading range 47146 to 45482

Today's range is 474 points to start. We fade breakouts.

As of early morning trading (around 9:17 AM EDT), the June contract opened at 46,726 but quickly reversed, hitting a low of 46,271 and trading near 46,328 (down ~0.8% from yesterday’s close and ~1% from the open). Volume remains light early on (~20k contracts).

The broader technical picture remains corrective and bearish:

Price has been in a clear downtrend since mid-February highs near 48,500–49,000, now sitting well below the 200-day moving average (~47,400) and the 50-day SMA.

Yesterday’s high (47,036) failed to reclaim key overhead resistance near 47,000–47,400.

Near-term support clusters around 46,200–46,000 (recent swing lows) and then 45,700 (November 2025 low area). A break below 46,200 would accelerate selling toward 45,700–45,165.

Resistance sits at 46,700–46,800 (today’s open + yesterday’s close), then 47,000–47,400.

Momentum indicators (RSI) are oversold on the daily/weekly but have not yet flashed a clear reversal. The structure favors cautious bulls only above 46,700 and aggressive bears below 46,200 on a 15–30 minute close.

Day-Trading Scenarios for Aug 6, 2026

We start with a narrow range. This means the market, including the institutions, are confused as to the next move. This tells us to be patient, wait for the break, then get aboard. We are overbought.
